Teaching Math Wordles This Weekend

This weekend Abra-Kid-Abra is honored to have been selected to present a session at the Math Educators of Greater St. Louis Annual Conference. We will be teaching how to use math wordles (word puzzles) to engage students’ attention and reinforce key points. We use wordles in our summer camps. St. Louis Magicians – Upcoming Performances

These upcoming performances by Abra-Kid-Abra’s St. Louis magicians are free and open to the public. Saturday, July 19 1pm-2:15pm we’ll be performing magic in Howdershell Park in Hazelwood in a community event. Thursday, July 24, catch our library magic show, Fizz Boom Seuss, at the Tesson Ferry Branch of the St. Louis County Library.  This show is a lot of fun, especially for kids.

Magic Shows in St. Louis This Weekend

This is a busy weekend for magic in St. Louis. Friday Abra-Kid-Abra is performing a circus show at Brentwood Park.  Pre-concert entertainment.  6:30pm.  We will be following this up with a circus camp at Brentwood Community Center the week of July 28, 9am-3pm. Saturday St. Louis magicians of Abra-Kid-Abra are performing at the MO History Museum.  Learn magic and circus tricks you can perform!

International Magicians Convention in St. Louis this Week

St. Louis is lucky to have 1350 magicians in town this week from all over the world for an international magicians convention at America’s Center.  Today was the first day.  We enjoyed shows and lectures from magicians from France, Argentina, Spain, Finland, and more.  We are on the look-out for new tricks we can bring to our shows! Fun at Monroe City’s Arts in the Park Festival

Yesterday I had the honor of putting on a magic show and workshop at Monroe City’s Arts in the Park Festival.  What a cute main street this city has!  I didn’t know that Ben Franklin was still around any more.  Photos below.
